CCNA Exams:

You need to do the Cisco exam(s) required to earn CCNA certification. These can be one or two exams:

The single exam that is required is the Cisco 640-801 CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associated) exam.

OR

The two exams are the 640-812 INTRO (Introduction to Cisco Networking Technologies) exams and the 640-811 ICND (Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices) exam.

CCNA Recertification

The certification are now valid for only three years, to recertify you must either pass the single CCNA exam or pass the ICND exam and the , or by passing any Cisco professional level or Cisco Qualified Specialists exams (but not a Sales Specialist exams), or by passing the CCIE written exams on or after the 1 October 2004.
